My absolute favorite app. I made the mistake of not reinstalling it on my new phone and I tried other games. I crawled back after realizing there's very few apps as chill and non intrusive as this one. Neko Atsume won't bombard you with ads or micro transactions. You have to seek out ads and even then it asks permission to show them. You can pay for the in-app currency but there's not really a point in doing so as far as "winning". I paid once as a way to thank the developer.

I am heartbroken. I have had this game for several years across several devices and never had any issues continuing where i left off, even if it had been several days or even weeks. I've had my current device for almost a year and have had no issues until now. I just went to check the app, feed cats, etc, and ALL my years of progress, all the toys, cats, catbook, scenery, fish, everything is completely GONE. There's no option to try to get progress back. It's making me start over from scratch.

Neko Atsume: Kitty Collector is such a charming and addictive game. I love checking in to see which new cats have visited and snapping pictures of them. One of my favorite features is the mementos - they make the game feel even more personal. It's relaxing, easy to play, and one of the best free games I've ever downloaded.
