Often a great app. Every now and then (including last few weeks) it won't let me connect my camera. I've watched video after video to try to fix it. Nothing. Trying deleting it and downloading it back. For It not to work. Tried even connecting through a hotspot instead AND IT STILL DIDN'T WORK! At first this was happening so rarely that it didn't matter. Now this problem keeps reoccurring and as someone who takes photography seriously I can't deal. Used to love this app but it has such a problem

While this requires a Bluetooth or Wi-Fi connection to a compatible Canon camera(I use the Canon EOS R50), it makes for a convenient way to transfer photos and videos from my camera to my phone. My one complaint is that videos can take a while to transfer. In that case, USB file transfer(with at least a 10 Gbps USB C cable) to a PC then to my phone may be faster. Even still, that's a minor complaint since the videos are fairly large files.

Won't open without logging in, and won't send me an email to reset password. Previous time I tried using it was last year, and it wouldn't connect to the camera. It's just a terribly erratic app that only occasionally works. Not getting a reset password email after requesting several times in the app, I went to the regular website and requested it, got the email, reset password. Yay! App still says password is wrong. Clearly, app just can't log in, yet requires login to function. Brilliant.
