The Steelers App isn't close to as good & friendly as the previous versions. The old Steelers Nation App was great. I used it every day the last few years. I barely used it at all this year. For whatever reason, the app doesn't work with all smart phones, it doesn't work with mine. I'm unable to upload any pics. So I haven't shared a single Steelers story. I wrote 3-4 each year and uploaded pictures 2 to 3 times a week. This year, zero. And the app isn't compatible with my Chromebook.

Upon opening, I can enable notifications and then location permissions, but even if I enable location services, the app hangs on the screen asking me enable location services and there is no way to get further into the actual app. A phone restart and multiple uninstalls and reinstalls has not solved the issue, not has clearing storage or the cache for the app.

UPDATE: I figured out how to fix this issue. Go into your Settings to the Steelers app. Go to mobile data and turn OFF "Allow Background Data Usage". -- Steelers App will not load. Sends to an open location setting which is already enabled but will never load. Tried reinstalling and same issue. Location services is enabled but app continually asks for it to be enabled and locks on that screen even though it is enabled. This app worked last year but not this year on my new Samsung S25
