Necessary but flawed. If you use it to keep track of your "real-time" balance and payments, you're going to get lost. There's a lot of kag between pending charges and your balance. Also there's little bugs throughout the app. For example, when you make a payment it will disappear frim your activity section after the first day, then you'll see it 3 days later as processed. If you schedule a payment, it will disappear all together.

No security log in. When you open the app your information shows right away, no fingerprint, no security code. Also reports wrong balance. My very first balance I paid in full, and now I have a $76 credit. This isn't how credit card apps should work, I use 3 others that offer secure log in and log out. I like the perks of the card, but this app does not make me feel like my information is being protected properly. Also, I don't recall seeing the points were ONLY for Verizon bucks..that sucks.

I've been a satisfied customer for a few years now. I do wish the app and actual statement would get an update. Per purchase, the app and statement should specify the amount of cashback being awarded. That way it's easier to tell what category a retailer falls under. Like for example would Costco fall under "Groceries" or would it fall under "Everything Else"? Thanks in advance!
