Audacy is one of the worst apps I have ever used. It can't reliably do its most basic function: playing a radio feed. Most of the time, the audio simply stops after coming back from a commercial break. In the worst cases, the feed crashes so bad that the only way to get it back is to close the app and clear the cache. This has been a long recurring problem over more than a year. I have tried with different phones, including Pixel 7 and Samsung Galaxy S24. The problem is the app.

Hi Gabriel, Thank you for your feedback about the app failing to play radio feeds, especially after commercial breaks. Please adjust your Galaxy’s Battery, Memory, and Data-Saving settings to allow Audacy to run in the background. Never Opens Properly Absolutely ridiculous, everytime I try to open the app, it gets stuck on a blank screen and never loads up. I have to clear data and cache, THEN I have to sign in again and it's such a hassle. The app never works with Android Auto unless you clear the app and sign in, and then the next day you try to use it, you have the same exact issue over again. Worst app ever and it is basically unusable.

Didn't think it was possible to make the app worse. The app was trending on getting better but the last few updates have been worse. Once the app has been opened you need to force close to reopen in Android auto otherwise the app won't open. Also if does actually reopen it gets stuck in an audio loop of the last 10 seconds, and you need to force close and reopen the app. it's been at least 3 years since this app came out and it never gets better. Fire anyone working on it and hire someone else.
