Every time I open the app, it pops up an "updating" modal that cannot be dismissed or cancelled. It also never finishes. I have to delete and redownload the current guide each time. Updating needs to be optional, since connections can be spotty in big cons. It wants alarm permission (and refuses to add things to my schedule without it), even though I set no alarms for any of my events. Chugs battery in the background. Aside from these glaring bugs, it's a well-designed app with a good UI.

I use this every year. It not only lets me set my schedule, it sends reminders (if you want that). The panelists can pre-load slides or handouts they want you to have, leave notes later on a question they had to look up and get back to us. So many great ways to look up panels by name, guest, subject...love it. the only thing I wish is that it would save your preference for reminders. i never want you to remind me of an upcoming event, but I have to tell you that every time I schedule a panel.

I dislike needing to allow alarm permissions vs. notifications. I'm also disappointed that the app will not allow you to add events from the schedule without it. Especially odd as the convention I'm using the app for shared that last year they essentially used this app as the foundation and it did not require alarm permissions to work or to select events. However, those complaints aside, it is full of useful information for the convention. The alarm thing is a big miss though, in my opinion.

We appreciate you taking the time to share this feedback with us. Alarm permissions are required so that you can set reminders for sessions that you add to your personal schedule. I have shared this feedback with our product team for consideration.
