X1 closed my account since I didn't carry a balance with them and hadn't recently used my account. There was no warning or recommendations to use card to keep service going. This is also one of my lowest credit limit cards and interest rate is too high. I also tried to reach out to customer service to keep account open and they refused. Do not use X1, there are many other better credit card companies available with no interest periods, higher credit limits, and better cash back programs.

I'm still getting used to the app (it's dif), but cautiously optimistic. I read somewhere that carrying a balance on this card is worse than other cards (interest applied to new and existing balance, instead of just existing), so I have it set to pay off weekly. The points seem more user friendly than some other cards, but I haven't redeemed any yet. I like the features to administer dependent accounts while building subordinate user credit. the physical card is heavy in a good way, and sleek.

The app is nicely laid out, but pushes out support to texting or emailing outside the app. More importantly, there is a big lack in security for a credit card or bank app. Anyone can quickly get in the app and review purchases, your limit, activate boosts... And create virtual card numbers or view them. The only thing protected by biometrics is the main card number which you don't need if you can create an unlimited virtual card anyway.
