I love how easy it is to add birthdays, however reminders are inconsistent. If I restart my phone, I'll get a ton of reminders all at once--basically all of the birthdays that occurred in the last two months. If I open the app, I will get reminders that day and sometimes the next 2-3 days, but that's it. I really need reminders to pop up on their own.

Sorry to hear that, could be a battery saver settings in your device which kills the app and prevent it from sending notification. In the settings of the birthday calendar there is a site "Troubleshoot notifications". Following the instruction hopefully fixes the issue. Best Regards -Christopher

Spent like an hour getting everything set up and imported for a couple dozen birthdays, everything was great at first but now when I open the app there's nothing. It acts like I am opening it up again for the first time. If I skip all that, the calendar is completely blank. Thought I would try importing from my calendars just to see if maybe something glitched out, only to have it pop up and tell me I have to pay for that feature. Don't even know if it would work, not going to pay to find out.

thats very unfortunate, unfortunately i don't know what could cause this. Birthdays only get soft deleted, in the bottom in the settings you can enable showing deleted birthdays, hope this helps. Kind Regards Christopher

This app has one small but major flaw, it doesn't tell you that later on you can add birthdays manually (yes you can) and it also doesn't show an obvious way of skipping the synchronization process from other calendars, which will cause a percentage of people to automatically delete the app (still don't know if it's possible to skip). Otherwise, it's a great app! I just wish the app made sure to tell you about the manual birthdays first thing and a "skip synchronization" button.
