The game is challenging, but not to where it's frustrating. I'm very please that the ads are limited. You get them if you want to use a revial, when you restart a game, and if you want a skin that you want it can be obtain from ad watching (two are paid for, but next point relates to it). I like how they all uniquely design and you're not force to collect them all. You can get the skins you want on your own terms (so no paying necessary). A good fruit merging game you should try at least.

The gameplay is exactly how you would expect, and NO FORCED ADS 🎉. It's really refreshing that the only time you will watch an ad is if you chose to do so in order to remove a fruit when you lose (basically a revive). You can also remove a fruit mid game with gems, which you natrualy accumulate as you play (if I get far I will do it 1 or 2 times and it's sustainable :D) My ONLY issue is that when you reopen the game, fruit spawns not touching which can make you lose on high boards sometimes.

I played for months, but within the last 2 weeks they changed the game. 1) Ads now interrupt gameplay!! 2) It opens pop ups in chrome without touching the ad. 3) Ads interrupt randomly when you touch any game controls like opening the menu. But the straw that broke the camel's back: 4) They doubled the gems it costs to shake the fruit (now you have to watch 2 ads to buy instead of 1). I uninstalled. This used to be my absolute favorite and I'm very sad.
