clarity in booking is difficult because of language barrier. But their discounts and price matching makes for really well priced hotel stay. I tried to add an ex day to stay in hotel I was already booked.and it took most of my morning to get that booked and paid for thru agoda and front desk. It wasted a lot of my day to get that handled. they need to improve the ability to communicate additional request easier and less disruption to hotel stay. very hard to understand person on the phone.

I booked a hotel and had a big issue in the check-in caused by lack of information in the Agoda app on the hotel policies. So I tried to call Agoda but after so many minutes I had no answer. As a result, I had to figure out a solution by myself (since the hotel's front desk people were not willing to help). That cost me a bit of extra money in addition to the stress. Thus, I requested reimbursement, but Agoda customer support declined based on a false claim that the info was in the app.

Agoda, I’m extremely disappointed. The hotel I booked looked nothing like the photos—it was run-down, in a sketchy area, and felt unsafe from the moment we arrived. We left just 45 minutes later because we didn’t feel secure. I felt scammed by both the hotel and Agoda for misrepresenting the listing. Your lack of support made it worse. I won’t be using your platform again. What you see on Agoda is not always what you get.
