Don't download. I downloaded it for the calendar and widget. It seemed cool. Unfortunately, I knew right away it was a red flag when i opened it and it refused to work unless I accepted the phone permission (which has NOTHING to do with countdown). But I accepted anyways after much hesitation. I regret that. Every single call, it reminds me of a call recorder app. Used to monitor and review your calls. Annoying and irrelevant. Uninstalled right away. They're lucky I can't give zero stars

I don't know what the devs were thinking when they decided to deny access to the app unless you give it permission to monitor the phone calls, but they're insane lol. On top of the privacy concerns, it comes with a huge pop-up while on call, and when each call ends it brings up a screen so full of ads it's hard to look at. Not just concerning, but annoying, too, and that alone is a deal breaker for most. Maybe try spying on your users sneakily like most other apps? Lmao

For a minute I was excited to see a new countdown app because I keep looking for the countdown grail. But this ain't it. It's simple, clean with a few widget options & I like that you can select multiple widgets. But you can't customize the appearance beyond changing the color of the app theme & adding (very tiny) pics to the event. You can't change the color of the widget or the fonts or notifications (sound? I missed it because it used the default beep). You can't set a custom notification period. You can only choose from 8 preset event times. I like to also see seconds in countdowns, which this doesn't have. There's no method to import dates from your own calendar or even holidays. While it shows a list of holidays, you still have to manually click on each one to add it. There doesn't appear to be any method to save/export/backup settings unless you purchase the premium version & since I recently had to reformat my phone, it would have been a nightmare to reset all my unimportable reminders. I might have purchased the upgrade if it offered more features. It's okay if you just want something you can use for a couple of items & don't really care about notifications or aesthetics.
