Ridiculous ads. The app is good and it works well. The problem is the ads, they are constantly popping up and auto playing audio from advertisements. To the Developer: I understand you have to make money, and you deserve to because the app is great. The way you are implementing ads however is terrible. I was going to pay the 2 dollars to get rid of ads but I'm going to find a different app that isn't so obnoxious. My advice: Have ads, but don't make them cover the screen!

I guess it works well enough to get a general idea of decibel range... but ads with audio literally every 5 to 10 seconds makes it unusable to get a consistent, accurate measurement. Anytime you disable an ad or have it play out, the reading gets disrupted from the audio feedback of you touching the phone or the sound of the ad itself. I am not going to buy an app to disable ads when I cannot even be sure it works properly.

App does as promised, until it interrupts the entire screen with an ad after one minute of use. Unfortunately, the loudest video ads you could possibly imagine will blast through again and again in one minute intervals where the [skip video] button will "mysteriously" become unresponsive until about the 3rd or 4th try in skipping them. Uninstalled after 5 minutes, couldn't get any proper readings with that nonsense. Can't rate it higher than one star since it couldn't do the job.
