Get all your news in one place on an eye-opening platform that shows you the bias, reliability and ownership of every source you read. Cut through the noise and escape media echo chambers with Ground News.
Ground News is the largest news aggregator in the world with over 50K news sources and 60K articles added daily. But we aren’t a typical news aggregator, throwing hundreds of headlines at you that barely skim the surface. Ground frees people from algorithmic restraints, illuminates blindspots and makes media bias explicit with our one-of-a-kind media analysis features.
> Avoid manipulative algorithms > Spot media bias > Discover news Blindspots > Check the reliability of sources > See who owns the news you consume
Read daily breaking stories from sources around the world, in real time. Like a modern day newspaper, we show you diverse stories instead of algorithm-driven content that can limit your worldview. News coverage is rarely unbiased, so we give you as much context as possible so you can come to your own conclusions. Compare coverage on partisan topics like politics, and elections.

very helpful and thoughtfully designed. neat touches like when you log in, if your email is not connected to an existing account the "log in" button automatically becomes a "create account" button. super helpful if you're like me and have several emails to run through before you remember what you used for a given site. I also live the AI-generated summaries! It can be a bit confusing what it is that you're looking at due to the many GroundNews-generated sections as well as articles on offer.

great tool. would love to use it more, but it slips my mind. one thing that might work would be if the app had like an auto-podcast system. let me specify some rules for generating a playlist, and a Text-to-Speech voice reads off the summary before playing the next item in the list. During play, have a quick-flag option to indicate I want to investigate that story more. This is a feature I could quickly get caught up on what's going on and then look forward to getting more details on later.

it's a pretty useful app in times like these, but there's two criticisms I have. the right being blue and the left being red really messes with my brain, since it's the other way around in america. Also, I don't know if the app filters out AI articles, and since it isn't stated, I'm going to assume nope. filtering out AI articlez is something that will become increasingly important as AI progresses.

Hello, our bias bar is designed to represent the political party associations, depending on your edition. In the UK, Canada, and Australia, the left-leaning parties are associated with red, and the right-leaning parties are associated with blue. Please follow the steps in our Help Center article "My bias bar colors are wrong" to change your edition
