I have been using this app since 2015 for planning trips. I haven't found anything I like better, but I miss the old functionality. I miss seeing my comments about a location on the app. I miss being able to write multiple comments or letting others in the trip write comments. Regarding searching hotels, I miss looking at the app and seeing only the filtered hotels, now you filter it but if you look at the map then you see every hotel in the area. Regarding AI creating a trip, it's laughable

I've used TripAdvisor forever to plan trips, find the best restaurants, etc. It's been my go-to source for every trip I've taken or just to discover new things to do or restaurants around me. I'm uninstalling it as of today. It is no longer user friendly at all. You have to put in a location from the start and sometimes I just know the name but not the exact location. It was a good run and I loved having the "my trips" saved as a timeline for me to remember my trips so I'll really miss it.

Not feeling the new app. When you use to search for things to do, they would actually give you a list of things to do, very helpful! Now you get some weird "social media" page of pictures and videos people posted about that location. NOT HELPFUL! It's like they're trying to keep up with social media platforms like Instagram. If I want a social media page, I'd go to my IG account! Stick to your purpose! Helping people find helpful info on travel destinations.

We’ll admit: this update’s just for looks. What can you expect to see? Picture the old Tripadvisor and then turn that up a notch or two. With bold new colours and designs, you can browse, book, and go in style. Download the latest version now—because the old version is soooo five minutes ago.
