Great UI, but some of the features advertised could be misleading. I saw that signing up for the wallet gives users access to better rates than advertised. However, I didn't see any advantage after I signed up for the wallet. When I reached out to customer service, I was given the run around with memorized responses not addressing my question. I was and still am disappointed with all of these.

5* - Life saver for getting around Kenya, to make mPesa payments without purchasing & registering a local phone number to get get an mPesa account. -1*: cannot send payments to AirTel money accounts -1* due to one glitch. Account was frozen, no reason given, all transactions well within limits. I spent one full day trying to recover it. Even when I finally connected with a live agent I was told it would be several days to review the account; fortunately it was restored that day.

Very unreliable. I was sending money for emergency reason. There was an error in the app when I was sending the money and they asked me to wait a bit and then try to send it again. I waited a little bit and tried resending again. Not only did the error occurred again but the money was deducted from my account. I called Sendwave but they couldn't offer any help. telling me that the transaction didn't happen. I waited 7 business days for me to get my money back. Unreliable!!
