This game feels like a more mechanically developed prequel, with more detailed item usage and a more rewarding gameplay loop. While I do prefer the wider scope of the original game, this one is not far behind, with equally amazing music and memorable monsters. My only complaint is that there haven't been any major additions in a while, and now that the prismatics have concluded, I feel the game needs something new. I expect something is in store, however, so I am excited to see where it goes.

It's pretty good, but it's no match for the original game. While the baby monsters ARE cute, actually GETTING STUFF is stupidly difficult. Getting resources takes a long time, and there's so many monsters to breed on the BASIC island it's going to take forever to get a HINT of the song. I get that the islands should have a lot of monsters, but they could at least decrease the breeding times or something. And don't even get me started on leveling up monsters...

Dawn of Fire is really great. It gets going really quickly, having an amazing progression system that feels good, not too fast, not too slow. I love the items that you can make and the wants of monsters. It adds so much that the 1st didn't have. The songs are good, the game runs well, and you can scam people on the market by putting items at way too high prices. MSM Dawn of Fire is absolutely one of the best mobile games out there, sitting with the original in amazingness!
