This is the exact app Veterans need right now. Unfortunately--as is the case with almost all VA apps and websites--logging in is an hours-long struggle. For this app, you can't even get to the logins for some of the sign in options (like DS login). When you choose the right option to get to sign in (I had to use the Login.gov option), you still don't get all the way signed in beyond setting a pin. I always get only as far as entering the pin before perpetual "loading" that never goes anywhere.

Great concept, but it looks like VA has followed their typical practice of putting the horse before the cart. When will they get it? That doesn't work. I tried to cancel an appt. but the phone number listed to verify me was an old number, so that wasn't going to work. And you gotta wonder why so many appointments are no showed. I just waited 15 minutes on hold to cancel an appt where I heard the announcement about chatting with a scheduler... And let it not go unsaid, the CCC, call center SUCKS!

I think the idea for this app is great, but given that it is from the VA, there are many shortcomings. I echo many of the reviews that state the problem of installing and logging in to the app. I experienced the circle of death after specifying my PIN, but after rebooting my phone, I was able to successfully login. After that, the app had me in the wrong region with no way of making a correction. It would also be nice if the app used biometrics to login.
