has potential but unnecessarily rigid UI means creating your own template is somewhere between a nightmarish hassle and simply impossible (cannot, for a simple example, program "4-6 reps" because that is not a numeral and the keyboard does not allow something crazy like hyphens in the rep range). Having to scroll through a million irrelevant exercises just to find the one you want because of overinclusive lists you can't easily filter the noise from? it's a choice...

As of 4/19/25, I've noticed a change with the UI where it overtakes the phones UI. Unfortunately, it's definitely caused a bad reaction where I'm not enjoying using the app anymore. The ability to close the app easily and avoid messing up my workout numbers has become a pain. I still enjoy the workout plans available, so it gets a 3, but without that it would 1 or 2 star for me

Originally I gave this a 2 star, but after messing around in my phones settings (not an app feature) I was able to put the background to sleep resolving the battery drain. Workouts are fun and engaging. I'm trying exercises I've never done or heard of. And I appreciate that the app has recommended alternatives to specific exercises. (this may be specific to routines) The program i am on is 12 weeks, I'll give a final review then (note this is with premium but on a free routine)
