Outstanding! I love it! You choose your own songs, effects, and are able to record in your own style. Best of all, you can practice till you get the right sound before you upload it. There's also plenty of good natured support from other members and lots of fun to be had in live party rooms and events to turn your pastime singing into full time blast.! I totally recommend this app for beginners and seasoned pros as well. Have a good time doin' it!.

Continues to get worse!! It used to be entirely free and it was awesome! Then it changed to having a VIP option where certain songs cost but all in all there were still plenty of songs to sing for free; I even became a paying member because of how much I enjoyed this app. I ended my subscription due to me not being on it as much. Today I hop on expecting to be able to get some songs in and EVERYTHING that I searched for was for VIP only!! Get over yourselves- too many other options!

At first i loved it even bought the subscription. I thought i found the perfect app to record covers on. I was able to post it on YouTube, instagram etc. Now they have taken that ability away so you can only share a link to the video on their website. Which means your can't post yourself singing on instragram, only the still cover shows and my friends and family don't want to click on links from facebook it takes you off facebook onto their site and says to listen to the full version sign up for starmaker/thevoice. So really my subscription is just like myself paying to advertise their app/site. This was a not so smart move on the app developers part. They may think this is a way to boost popularity/sales but the way it was before benefitted them and the consumer. My instagram videos from the old version still had their starmaker logo which in the long run more people will see. Now if i want to share the video I'm sending links. People don't trust links and it's a pain. I have zero interest in using the app for the social media community that's built into it. The comments, gifts, likes are not genuine for the most part they are all bought. You can tell by the many tone deaf singers with 20k -500k followers and likes, it's crazy. So now that they ruined a good thing i will be unsubscribing. I wrote to their support team explaining how i can't download my video asking if they took the option away, and the response was, "we don't have that option" clearly they don't care so I'll be on my way then.
