I thank you for allowing a brief period to explore Idagio and what it has to offer. The user interface is really nice, the app overall is easy to use and the sound quality is excellent. However, Idagio falls short on the number of albums in the library. For instance, I am a connoisseur of the music of Vaughan William's and have discovered a large number of CD's and pieces missing that are included in Spotify. Also, the number of albums and music of the Renaissance is about 1/6 that of your competitor. As for artists, those whose music is recorded on the Hyperion, Naxos or Marco Polo labels are few., and recordings on the old Phillips and London labels are also limited. I approximate that Idagio's library is about at or below 1/2 of Spotify's. That is why, for now, I gave you app 3 stars.

Dear John, thanks for your extensive feedback. As a fairly young service we are indeed still growing our catalogue with around 15,000 tracks a week and just reached overall 1,000,000 tracks in our catalogue. Feel free to share with us which albums you have been missing, so we can provide more information to you. Best regards, Lukas from IDAGIO

The service is good, and I am not about to cancel, but the app has a lot of glitches. The music will suddenly stop if browsing the web or skip tracks when I type. The streaming buffers constantly, even at the lowest quality settings, so I consider that feature to be useless. That might be a carrier issue, but I never had a problem with Spotify before switching. Since you can download tracks, albums and playlists, it's not a big deal, but I would definitely prefer streaming to be viable.

After years of promising, and even admitting that it's essential to the experience of art music, they STILL don't have anything close to gapless playback. I was forced back to idagio when apple gobbled up Primephonic. I was honestly frightened to see that nothing had improved. So now there's no game in town? Idagio, get on this now! Lossless doesn't matter if we're distracted by a half-second gap every two minutes of a continuous piece of music. Your app does not work until that's fixed.

Dear Rob, We share your concerns, gapless playback is indeed essential for the listening experience. Our development team is working towards bringing it to other platforms, as it is already available on iOS. We would love to hear further suggestions, do not hesitate to write contact@idagio.com. Best wishes, Lukas @ IDAGIO
