I've been playing all of the lost lands series and well.... this one sucked. the most frustrating part was when there was exactly the item you needed but you couldn't use it. in the chest in totos cave there is a pitcher but you can't use it for water. at the archeology site, there's a whole chest of archeology tools but you have to find different ones somewhere else because "I probably won't need these" this is the kind of stuff that is insanely frustrating to me.

I really liked the scenery in this one: the forest and waterfalls, the pyramid and castle. The orchestral music is beautiful as well. The puzzles are tricky. I had to spend $ for coins for skips, even with a walkthrough for reference. I enjoy making potions :) One thing that was frustrating was not being able to pick up items initially to put into the inventory until later when they are needed for a task.

I usually love games from this developer, I've played through many of their series. I didn't like this one nearly as much. I think what I disliked most was: 1) Puzzle difficulty. It seems like there were a lot of repeats of puzzle types & the scene where you have to complete 3 each of two of the same type of puzzle was ridiculous. 2) collecting objects. You can't collect as you go, you have to go back to scenes once you need the items. Needless back and forth that takes away from the experience.
