ARK BIRD
The game has fun mechanics, good colors, and sound, but the heart system (which allows you to play a level) is atrocious. If you don't mind playing one level (which you might not even pass or catch the pokemon) every half hour, then this game is for you. Also, limiting the amount of hearts you can store while not playing the game is exceptionally low.

I've enjoyed this game since in 2016 on the 3DS. It's more of a puzzle game instead of a match 3. Difficulty ramps up fast, so if you get frustrated easily, I wouldn't recommend this to you. Heart system can be limiting--as someone who can easily burn a lot of time playing a game, I like that I'm encouraged to put it down. Various stages to try, and I like the build crafting & tailoring teams to figure out what abilities synergize in a line up. And no pesky ads! Only complaint, no offline play.

I grew up playing the 3ds version, and my overall experience with this one is similar. the user experience between the 3ds and phone can feel a little weird, but smth you can get used to if you play it enough. I do not like that the price to use a great ball is increased from 2500 (3DS) to 3500 (mobile). the animations also feel a little janky compared to the 3ds, which makes me wonder why they didn't just copy everything from there. still a fun game, but, it is not 100% perfect
