Nice theory, but the information is unreliable. Most orders the app had any info on have had the wrong estimated delivery date and/or never show as delivered in the app even weeks after I have received the package. IF the information were correct, this might be a useful app because I can get tracking numbers from several sellers in one place. But currently I still have to use those tracking number links to look up the correct info on FedEx, UPS, etc.

I've used this for years because it's convenient, but recently it completely surprised me. I ordered something that ended up coming from another country with no shipper listed and an unusual tracking number. I tried it on every website I could think of with no luck, when I realized the Route app was updating and able to track this package. I was never able to manually track or find the company, but Route gave me peace of mind and my package showed up exactly when they projected.

I have it synced with my email (well an email to which I forward only shipment notification emails from my real email) and it's just kind of lame. you open it to a map screen with a random package maybe pictured somewhere on its route. sometimes it's something that was delivered days ago, so not helpful. Oh and it doesn't give you a quick way to see what item a tracking number correlates to. like sometimes it'll give you a thumbnail and a lot times nothing
