Love home exchange. However the app never recognizes my searches. Even Paris, France. I have to scroll over the world map (if the nap will load, which is rare) and zoom in on the city I want to search. I should be able to type in the city name in the search bar, but it never recognizes any cities. In response to home exchange's response to my review: the cities rarely pop up in autofill. I can type Paris, France and nothing pops up.

since we started about a year ago, there have been improvements in the search which has made the app much better. we have received a number of guests and stayed in a number of places and it's worked fantastically well and been a fun experience. I think the app would be further improved if there was some kind of instant book introduced for those that were prepared to accept that. This would reduce the overhead in finding a place. Although the chatting involved in finding a place can be fun.

Great app which makes finding a Home Exchange property very easy at short notice (as we've just had to do). I also like that it pre-fills conversations intelligently when you're contacting more than one property about starting for the same dates. A small issue with viewing properties that haven't specified any dates as being available (but not unavailabe) - the greyed-out icons on the map give the impression they're not available at all. A second colour is needed for those!
