Airthings customer service is horrible. If your device goes haywire like mine did, they ask for you to spend 30 day test periods repeatedly so that your warranty and return period expires. I have 2 of them and on one, the radon detector portion went suddenly and unbelievably high. (9+ when it had been consistently in the 1 to 2 range for a few months) The other sensor at that location disagrees. They have no returns process listed, and have no intention of ever honoring any warranty.

New app is 500 times better than the old version. The old one would fail to sync, not communicate, and just not work. The new version syncs much better, communicates quicker, and just works. The device is really good and with the new version of the app it's a solid 4. The reason for 1 star off is it still takes a while to communicate and sync, but it has never fails to do so (which the previous version would fail about half the time).

do not buy this device. after spending hours getting the app to work the device works okay but the software is horrible! you must be connected to the internet to even see your data. You must enable location so it can track you. it is constantly using battery even when the app is not pulled up and there's no way to stop that. there is no way to download the data or even take a screen pic. the data graph shows week number?? Do you know what week number this is? I don't.
